CLEANING AND INSPECTION SERVICES OF YOUR JEWELLERY

We invite you to visit our workshop for complimentary inspections and cleaning services, we’d like you to continue to enjoy your Pelizzari piece for as long as possible. We also recommend to have your jewellery examined regularly, once a year (1 year) or earlier if it undergoes any potential trauma. Inspections may help prevent the loss of a stone and extend the life of your jewellery. However, if a stone missing or your item has been damaged and it needs to be repaired, it can also be done at this time and will be charged accordingly. If previous maintenance, sizing, repair or other services were performed by someone other than Pelizzari, we do not take responsibility for any damage on the item.

CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Jewellery is vulnerable to normal wear, activities and accidents, this is particular true for rings since hands are regularly subjected to considerable stress. We do not provide warranties for damage caused by normal wear, loss of stones, theft or product loss. If an item show signs of damage resulting from something other than normal wear e.g. accidental damage, we will repair the piece at cost. Improper care or failure to obtain the necessary repairs to maintain the integrity of the product may result in damage. Examples of possible jewellery issues that would not be considered manufacturing defects include:
  1. Bent, caught or worn out prongs(s) allowing a stone to fall out or be lost due to improper care or other damage.
  2. Stone has chipped or is damaged due to improper care or accidental damage.
  3. Discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, swimming pools, make-up, hot tubs or bathing.
  4. Prongs and precious metals, in general, wear over time and may require repair or restoration work.
